Freedom Wellness Day: a few notes from the afternoon

Freedom Wellness Day was never meant to be a big event. It was designed as a small, intentional pause , a few hours to reset the body, open conversation, and share real experiences around wellbeing and life choices.
We began around one table in Hackney. Coffee, slow introductions. Just space to arrive. The conversation flowed easily , honest, open, and transparent. We spoke about wellbeing beyond the physical, and about the different paths people take when they want more flexibility, alignment, and choice in their lives.
Just lived experiences shared openly.
Heat, cold & the water element
From there, we moved to the rooftop sauna , above the city, with open views and a noticeable shift in pace.
Heat and cold work in simple but powerful ways. The sauna helps the body soften, the nervous system slow down, and circulation improve. Cold plunges are sharp and grounding , they bring you fully into the present moment and help build resilience. Moving between the two creates contrast, and contrast creates awareness. We also spoke about the water element , how water supports regulation, cleansing, and emotional balance. Whether through heat, cold, hydration, or immersion, water has a way of reconnecting us to the body and to feeling.
Some chose the cold plunge, others didn’t. Choice was part of the practice.
Notes of wellbeing, in real time
After the sauna, we slowed things down again. Tea, hydration, quiet conversation. This is often where the real notes appear , small insights, shifts in perspective, moments you want to remember.
We’ve now created a community page on Instagram for anyone who feels drawn to these conversations and wants to be part of our monthly Freedom Wellness Days.
Freedom because we explore different paths and perspectives on how we live and create more choice.Wellness because we genuinely value it and want to share it, simply and intentionally.
A few hours. Six people.Resetting the body. Clearing the mind. And leaving with a little more clarity, connection, and space.
